About Space Coast Academics
Space Coast Academics (SCA) is a homeschool enrichment program dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in core subjects and engaging electives. We serve students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, creating a supportive and academically enriching environment for a wide range of learners.

SCA is not a daycare, child-care facility, afterschool care program, or custodial supervision program. SCA does not provide custodial care or continuous supervision services.
At SCA, we partner with families to support both parents and students in their educational journey. Our flexible, à la carte model allows families to customize their child’s schedule by selecting classes that best meet their individual academic goals and interests. Whether reinforcing foundational skills or exploring new subjects, we are committed to helping each student thrive.
Mission Statement
At Space Coast Academics, we partner with families to support each student’s unique homeschool journey through a complete, high-quality academic curriculum. Our goal is to provide structured instruction, clear expectations, and personalized support while maintaining the flexibility that homeschooling allows. We believe that collaboration between teachers and parents is key to student success.
Homework Expectations
Beginning in the fall 2026 semester, all assignments will be posted weekly in Google Classroom, which both students and parents can access. Each lesson includes any necessary links and printable materials for convenience and clarity.
How much homework can my child expect?
SCA provides a full curriculum in every subject we teach. While we offer structure and guidance, we also honor your role as the primary educator. You have the final say in how assignments are completed at home.
Math: Students are expected to complete all assignments to keep up with the sequence of instruction.
English: Students should stay current on reading assignments, as in-class discussions depend on active engagement with the texts.
Other Subjects: We encourage completion of all assigned work, but recognize that parents may choose to adapt based on their child’s needs and schedule.

Unlike many homeschool programs, our classes offer a complete learning experience—no additional instruction or supplementation at home is required. Whether your child is exploring core subjects or pursuing creative passions, Space Coast Academics provides the support and structure they need to succeed.
Academic Oversight & Documentation
At Space Coast Academics, we provide comprehensive support to ensure student success and homeschool compliance. Our services include individualized progress monitoring and assessments to track academic growth, lesson oversight for both in-person and online coursework (including platforms like Study.com), and documentation, such as report cards and transcripts. With our structured approach, families can confidently navigate their homeschooling journey while ensuring students receive a high-quality education.
