Flagler Museum – A Journey into the Gilded Age
March 12th

Step back in time as we explore the magnificent Flagler Museum, one of Florida's most treasured historic landmarks. During our guided tour, students will discover the fascinating life of Henry Flagler, learn how the railroad transformed Florida, and experience the elegance and innovation of the Gilded Age through the museum's stunning architecture, artwork, and beautifully preserved rooms.
After the tour, students will participate in the Gilded Age Art Adventures workshop. They will explore the artistic styles and materials that defined this remarkable era, from delicate pressings to grand paintings. Inspired by the museum's collections, each student will create their own Gilded Age-inspired masterpiece to take home as a lasting reminder of their day.
This immersive field trip blends history, art, and hands-on creativity, giving students a deeper appreciation for one of the most influential periods in American history.

Eco Airboat Adventure – St. Johns River
Experience the beauty of Florida's wild side on an unforgettable Eco Airboat Adventure! Students will enjoy the excitement of gliding across the St. Johns River while discovering one of Florida's most diverse and fascinating ecosystems.
This one-hour educational tour combines the thrill of an airboat ride with an engaging, naturalist-led exploration of the river's unique habitats. Along the way, students will learn about native wildlife, wetland ecosystems, and the important role the St. Johns River plays in Florida's environment. Keep your eyes open for alligators, turtles, wading birds, bald eagles, and other incredible wildlife in their natural habitat!
This field trip is the perfect blend of science, nature, and adventure, giving students an up-close look at the plants, animals, and ecosystems that make Florida so unique.

🌿 ELC Lagoon Days Field Trip – Vero Beach 🌿
October 9th; 9:30-12:30
Join Space Coast Academics for an unforgettable day of outdoor exploration at the Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach! Students will discover the incredible ecosystems of Florida's Indian River Lagoon through hands-on adventures led by ELC naturalists.

Our Lagoon Day Activities Include:
🛶 Canoeing – Paddle through the calm waters of the lagoon while learning about the plants and animals that call this unique estuary home.
🐟 Seining – Work together to pull a seine net through the shallow water and discover fish, crabs, shrimp, and other fascinating marine life up close.
🌱 Mangrove Marsh Walk – Explore one of Florida's most important coastal habitats as you learn how mangroves protect shorelines, provide wildlife habitat, and keep our lagoon healthy.
This immersive field trip is perfect for curious learners who love science, nature, and hands-on experiences. Students will gain a deeper appreciation for Florida's diverse ecosystems while enjoying a day of adventure, exploration, and discovery.

Kennedy Space Center Field Trip
Reach for the stars on an unforgettable day of exploration and discovery at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex! Students will begin the day with an engaging educational class designed to deepen their understanding of space exploration, science, technology, and the incredible achievements of NASA.
After the class, families are invited to explore the Kennedy Space Center together at their own pace. Walk beneath authentic rockets, experience interactive exhibits, visit the Space Shuttle Atlantis®, meet an astronaut (schedule permitting), enjoy immersive simulations, and discover the history and future of America's space program.
This exciting field trip combines hands-on learning with family adventure, inspiring curiosity about science, engineering, and the limitless possibilities of space exploration. Whether your child dreams of becoming an astronaut, engineer, scientist, or simply loves discovering new things, this is a memorable educational experience the whole family will enjoy!
