Flagler Museum – A Journey into the Gilded Age

Step back in time as we explore the magnificent Flagler Museum, one of Florida's most treasured historic landmarks. During our guided tour, students will discover the fascinating life of Henry Flagler, learn how the railroad transformed Florida, and experience the elegance and innovation of the Gilded Age through the museum's stunning architecture, artwork, and beautifully preserved rooms.
After the tour, students will participate in the Gilded Age Art Adventures workshop. They will explore the artistic styles and materials that defined this remarkable era, from delicate pressings to grand paintings. Inspired by the museum's collections, each student will create their own Gilded Age-inspired masterpiece to take home as a lasting reminder of their day.
This immersive field trip blends history, art, and hands-on creativity, giving students a deeper appreciation for one of the most influential periods in American history.
