Design Foundations: Introduction to Graphic Design

Ages: Middle School and Up (Best suited for students who are eager to learn about graphic design)
This course is best suited for students who are eager to learn about graphic design.
This course introduces students to the foundations of product design through drawing, model-making, and physical prototyping. Students learn to think like designers—identifying problems, generating ideas, building models, testing with users, and refining solutions.
Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, creative thinking, tool safety, material knowledge, and clear communication. Ideally, students complete a physical design portfolio.
$300 per semester
All students: $100 materials fee

To begin the registration process, please complete the Student Information Form. Once submitted, you will receive an email with your student’s registration status and next steps.
Please note that registration is not considered complete until all required family forms have been submitted and the registration and material fees have been paid.
