These engaging, hands-on single-session dissection labs give students the opportunity to explore anatomy through guided, real scientific investigation. Each lab is a standalone experience, so students may register for one or multiple sessions.

Ocean Invertebrate Lab
Starfish & Sea Urchin — September 11 9:30-11:00
Students will explore the anatomy of marine invertebrates through hands-on dissection while learning about body structure, symmetry, and how these animals survive in ocean environments.
Cold-Blooded Creatures Lab
Snake & Frog — November 6 9:30-11:00
This lab focuses on reptile and amphibian anatomy. Students will examine internal and external structures while learning how cold-blooded animals function and adapt to their environments.
Amazing Organs Lab
Heart & Eye — February 12 9:30-11:00
Students will investigate two of the body’s most fascinating organs. This lab explores the structure and function of the heart and eye while connecting anatomy to how the human body works.
Ocean Predator Lab
Shark & Stingray — April 2 9:30-11:00
In this advanced marine biology lab, students will dissect shark and stingray specimens while learning about predators, cartilage skeletons, and adaptations that help these animals survive in the ocean.
