Dungeons & Dragons
Step into a world of fantasy, imagination, and adventure! Ms. Coco’s Table is the perfect introduction to the magical world of D&D, where adventurers will not only learn how to play the game but also craft their own unique characters to embark on epic quests.
Throughout the semester, students will dive into the fundamentals of the famous tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons. We will use collaborative storytelling that will allow adventurers to play, explore, and share a unique story that they create each week. As they navigate understanding the rules, rolling dice and role-playing in vibrant worlds filled with dragons, magic, and mythical creatures, adventurers will have opportunities to practice social emotional learning, mathematics, and story creation. They will create and develop their own characters, and explore how to bring their characters to life through backstories, weaknesses, and strengths.
