This course will focus on school news, photography, interviews, social media, and yearbook content.
Homework is intensive.
Press Studio is a hands-on class where students create real content for the school. Students write news articles, take photos at events, conduct interviews, and produce posts for SCA social media. Their work also helps build the annual yearbook.
This course runs like a small newsroom. Students work as a team and meet real deadlines.
The Inaugural SCA Yearbook: A landmark project for the Press Studio this year is the creation of the first-ever official SCA Yearbook! This demanding and rewarding task will require long-term planning, photography, event coverage, staff coordination, and advanced design skills to produce a comprehensive and enduring commemorative annual.
Registration:
To begin the registration process, please complete the Student Information Form. Once submitted, you will receive an email with your student’s registration status and next steps.
Please note that registration is not considered complete until all required family forms have been submitted and the registration and material fees have been paid.
