Press Studio offers students the opportunity to report on the latest happenings at SCA and our surrounding community.
Design and Layout Basics: A major component of the studio involves mastering the aesthetics and practicalities of print media. Participants will be instructed in the basics of professional newsletter design and layout, including typography, image placement, and visual hierarchy.
The Inaugural SCA Yearbook: A landmark project for the Press Studio this year is the creation of the first-ever official SCA Yearbook! This demanding and rewarding task will require long-term planning, photography, event coverage, staff coordination, and advanced design skills to produce a comprehensive and enduring commemorative annual.
