These fun, hands-on single-session STEM challenges are designed to spark creativity, problem-solving, and engineering skills. Each session is a standalone experience, so students may register for one or multiple challenges.
Cost: $30 per student per session.

To begin the registration process, please complete the Student Information Form. Once submitted, you will receive an email with your student’s registration status and next steps.

Please note that registration is not considered complete until all required family forms have been submitted and the registration and material fees have been paid.

Refund Policy

EMA Direct-Pay Funds: Payments made using EMA direct-pay funds are non-refundable once processed. However, credit may be issued for future classes.

Sky High STEM – The Tallest Tower Challenge
October 2 9:30-11:00
Students will design and build the tallest free-standing tower possible while learning about balance, stability, and structural engineering.

Ready, Set, STEM! – Balloon Car Race Lab
December 4 9:30-11:00
Students will build and race balloon-powered cars while exploring motion, force, and energy in this fast-paced engineering challenge.

Crash Test Lab – Egg Drop Engineering
January 29 9:30-11:00
Can you protect the egg? Students will design protective structures to keep an egg from breaking while learning about impact, force, and shock absorption.

Build It Better STEM – Bridge Builder Challenge
March 5 9:30-11:00
Students will construct bridges using limited materials and test how much weight their design can hold while learning about strength, tension, and compression.

Rube Goldberg Challenge – Chain Reaction Lab
May 7 9:30-11:00
Students will work in teams to create a multi-step chain reaction machine while exploring energy transfer, motion, and creative engineering design.
